If you can't choose between two colours then this shawl is perfect.

With just two 100g balls or skeins of aran-weight yarn, you can whip up a gorgeous neckerchief in no time at all.

Wear it with your best Winter coat or add an extra layer to your favourite jumper for maximum warmth and cosiness.

As with all my projects, it's a perfect stash buster for two contrasting odd balls of yarn, so

enjoy having a mooch in your stash to see what you can find.

To make your Cosy Frills Neckerchief, you will need:

2 x 100g balls or skeins of aran weight  (10ply/worsted) yarn.

6mm (US J/10) crochet hook.

A large button, sewing needle and thread.

The shawl is crocheted flat from the top edge, to the lower tip.

Two colours of yarn are used, changing colour as directed.

Full instructions are provided, including charts for the main shawl pattern and for the frilled edging.

Instructions are for BOTH US and UK crochet terminology.

Main stitch used is UK treble crochet (US double crochet).
